The advanced radar-jamming version of the A-6, the Prowler's fuselage is extended to accommodate two extra ECM specialist crewmen. It uses the ALQ-99F electronic countermeasures system carried in five pods, two under each wing and the other beneath the fuselage, each with two jamming transmitters. Most EA-6B's have been upgraded to carry the HARM antiradiation missile. [See also A-6E]
